As a Garment Designer, you will play a key role in designing and developing our collections, ensuring they meet our brand’s vision, quality standards, and market needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration to bring designs from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed tech packs, ensuring all necessary specifications for production are included.
- Develop samples for new designs and iterate based on feedback.
- Create precise garment patterns and modify them as required for production scalability.
- Collaborate with the production team to source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories that align with design requirements.
- Teach partner producers how to accurately execute designs, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
- Participate in quality checks of finished products, identifying and resolving any design or production issues with producers.
- Proactively address and troubleshoot quality challenges to maintain consistency across all products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Garment Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in tailoring, patternmaking, and garment construction.
- Hands-on experience in creating tech packs and working with production teams.
- Advanced computer skills, proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD, CLO 3D) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and trims.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills to work effectively with producers and team members.
